STEM Day
STEM Challenge On Thursday 6th July 2023 11 of our Year 8 students took part in the STEM Challenge Day competition. They were paired up with other schools and in teams they completed a total of four challenges: Robotics – Building and programming a robot to navigate a series of obstacles E-FIT – Using police software to create an image of a ‘criminal’ Vehicle – Designing, building and then racing a simple electric vehicle Medical Diagnostics – Student were tasked with diagnosing a ‘patient’ and testing for diabetes. Although our students and their teams didn’t win the overall prize, Gemma Bailey and Keali Hooper placed first in the Robotics Challenge. It was a fantastic day and all the students did Cleeve Park School proud. read more

Ofsted Monitoring Report
23 June 2023 Dear Parents and Carers, As you will recall, in November 2021 we were inspected by Ofsted and received a Requires Improvement judgement. I am sure you will agree that since that time, we have made enormous progress with moving the school forward to provide a consistently strong education every day for our children. We have seen a rise in exam outcomes and the culture around the school is one of focused learning. As part of the scheduled Ofsted process, they returned to us on 4th May this year. read more

Jack Petchey Awards
On Wednesday 14th June our Jack Petchey Coordinator Mr Faulkner and Deputy Headteacher Mr Portsmouth attended the 2022-23 Jack Petchey awards ceremony with nine of our amazing students. The evening allowed their achievements to be recognised and celebrated with many other schools in Bexley. The evening was full of entertainment, including musical and dance performances from local schools. All winners were invited onto the stage to receive their medallion from Councillor Nick O'Hare, the current Mayor of Bexley. read more

Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award
Congratulations and well done to former student Ben Taylor who received his Gold Award at a special presentation at Buckingham Palace on Monday. Ben was a student at Cleeve Park School between 2014 and 2022 (Years 7 to 13). After achieving some outstanding results in his A Levels he was offered a Degree Apprenticeship as a Data Analyst at Queen Mary’s University through PWC (PricewaterhouseCooper). Ben is the first Cleeve Park Student to have been awarded a DofE Gold Award. read more

Dear Cleeve Park School, Listed below are the changes in the hope that you can inform students that use this service on your website or other means. In summary, it won’t serve the first/last two bus stops in Bexleyheath any more, as it will start and finish in Townley Road instead. read more

Children’s Mental Health Week will take place from 6 - 12 February 2023. The week is run by children’s mental health charity Place2Be and aims to shine a light on the importance of children and young people’s mental health. This year’s theme is Let’s Connect. Human beings are intrinsically connected to each other, and human connection is vital for the wellbeing and survival of all individuals. read more
