Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) are joining our Sixth Form provision
Just before half term saw our first joint joint recruitment venture with Charlton Athletic Community Trust. As part of our Sixth Form provision, for the last 5 years we have been offering a Football Academy pathway for students with a keen interest in playing football. From September 2025 our new partners will be Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT). The Post 16 Football and Education Academy offering is aimed at all students aged 16-19 years who are interested in combining their education with the life of a professional footballer. read more

Sixth Form Information Evening
Our Sixth Form Information Evening will be taking place on Thursday 12th December between 5pm & 7pm.
Come along to speak with our subject leads, careers advisors and representatives from Charlton Athletic Community Trust who will be leading on our exciting Football Academy offer from September 2025.
There will also be the opportunity to talk to our Sixth Form Team and time to ask any questions you may have.

Sixth Form Enrolment
Sixth Form Enrolment will open in school at 10am in the Cleeve Meadow Auditorium (please head to the Cleeve Park Main Reception and you will be directed from there). Please note - There will be an Enrolment Clinic running between 11am and 2pm on the 22nd for any students who have missed the entry requirement but would still like to be considered for enrolment into the Sixth Form or who wish to change the courses they selected during the interview process. Alternatively, you can email sixthformadmissions@cleevepark-tkat.org with your name, the subjects you would like to study and the reason for consideration. If you are unable to enrol in person you can complete the enrolment process by logging into your online application account from 12.30pm on the 22nd August. read more

KS5 Results Day 2024
Cleeve Park A level results have sustained previous success by students achieving an average grade of a C, which is expected to be in line with the national trend. The highest achieving students include: Nathan who achieved AAA and is going to Sheffield University to study Journalism; James achieved AAB and has been offered a place to study Classics at Cambridge; Lucy achieved Distinction* AB and is going to Nottingham to study English; Hannah who achieved A*BB has secured a degree apprenticeship in Accountancy at KPMG: Toby achieved 3 Distinctions on the Football Academy Sports Scholarship and has started an apprenticeship with a Property Development company and lastly, Olly, another Football academy scholar, is going to Loughborough to study Sports Science. Individual subject success includes: Philosophy and Ethics which achieved 50% A*-B, English which achieved over 60% A*-C and the extended triple Sports Diploma with students achieving high grades in all areas. Executive Head Teacher, Alex O’Donnell said: ‘I am extremely proud of the achievements of all our 6th form students. read more

Sliver DofE Expedition Team: June 21-23, 2024
Success of the Silver DofE Expedition Team: June 21-23, 2024North Downs, UK – June 24, 2024This past weekend, the Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) team successfully completed their qualifying expedition through the picturesque North Downs. From June 21st to 23rd, 2024, the team demonstrated exceptional resilience and teamwork under challenging weather conditions. Expedition Highlights: Route: The team navigated the diverse terrain of the North Downs, known for its rolling hills, ancient woodlands, and stunning chalk cliffs. Covering approximately 50 kilometres over three days, they showcased their navigational and endurance skills, a testament to their thorough preparation and training. read more

Visit to Oxford University
On Friday 7th June a group of Year 12 students took part in a visit to Oxford University.The day started by travelling from Paddington to Oxford, St Peter's College before attending a Q&A with the College Master, Outreach Co Ordinator and current students. This was followed by a tour and a fabulous hot lunch in the college hall. In the afternoon students attended an academic taster session in Biodiversity and Nature recovery. They were then given a guided tour of Oxford University College (the oldest of all the 43 colleges). read more

University Visit
A group of year 12 Criminology and Psychology students attended a trip to Solent University this week in Southampton. Students were able to attend lectures in criminology which were linked to gender and how genders are treated differently in the justice system as well as looking at victims of crime and the theorists behind what makes someone commit crime. Students were able to get a taster of how lectures are run as well as get information on Universities in Southampton and talk to students from other schools. It was an early start to the day but worth the long journey. read more

Trip to New York
Some of our KS5 students are enjoying a fabulous adventure in New York! They flew out on 9th Feb and come back on the 12 Feb 2024.
The whistle-stop trip included visits to Statue of Liberty, Staten Island Ferry, Empire State Building, Conciliatory District, Times Square, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge and the National September 11 Memorial - located at the former World Trade Center complex. read more -
