Start of School Year Covid19 Testing

NHS Test and Trace: COVID-19 testing for students
Dear Parent/Carer,
Thank you for your continued engagement in the Covid-19 testing programme.
Based on current public health advice, testing will restart on our return to school in for the new term. We expect to offer your child two tests on-site before continuing regular testing at home.
This is the most effective way to reduce the risk of transmission and support the continuation of face-to-face education. We recognise, however, the need to minimise any disruption to education and to continue to support your child’s mental wellbeing. The government will continue to review the future need for testing in light of any changes to the public health situation.
For year 7 students, and students who have not previously participated in the onsite testing programme, if you are happy for your child to be tested please complete the Consent Form
You will need to complete the form online for each child who attends the school.
