Cleeve Park A level results have sustained previous success by students achieving an average grade of a C, which is expected to be in line with the national trend.
The highest achieving students include: Nathan who achieved AAA and is going to Sheffield University to study Journalism; James achieved AAB and has been offered a place to study Classics at Cambridge; Lucy achieved Distinction* AB and is going to Nottingham to study English; Hannah who achieved A*BB has secured a degree apprenticeship in Accountancy at KPMG: Toby achieved 3 Distinctions on the Football Academy Sports Scholarship and has started an apprenticeship with a Property Development company and lastly, Olly, another Football academy scholar, is going to Loughborough to study Sports Science.
Individual subject success includes: Philosophy and Ethics which achieved 50% A*-B, English which achieved over 60% A*-C and the extended triple Sports Diploma with students achieving high grades in all areas.
Executive Head Teacher, Alex O’Donnell said: ‘I am extremely proud of the achievements of all our 6th form students. Once again I am proud that students have shown the resilience and determination to achieve what they required in order to pursue their next steps, be that University, Apprenticeships or the world of work. Our 6th form is academically thriving and at the heart of our school. I wish all of those who leave us this year continued success.’
