Bexley Youth Council Members in our Student Parliament
Our Student Parliament is made up of a group of students across KS3 who help shape the running of the school for the betterment of their fellow students. This could be related to, for example, the offering in the canteen, sports facilities at break and lunch or environmental improvements across the school.
A current focus is to create a garden space on the school ground for students to relax in and enjoy and arrange a Year 7 PGL trip.
Students from each Form Group are selected to be the representatives in our Student Parliament.
This year two of these Form Representatives have successfully submitted applications to join the Bexley Youth Council.
So congratulations to Franek Gallera (Yr8) and Grace Tunsley (Yr9). They both submitted application forms which were clearly thought out and had some amazing ways they wanted to improve the local community. The lady who runs the organisations has said that she is so excited to have them both join as she feels they are going to fit perfectly into the group and have already been contributing their ideas and thoughts. She described them as "role models for all students" This is very exciting for us as Cleeve Park School has never had any students be part of this organisation and now our school is going to be represented in Bexley.
Pictures show Franek and Grace feeding back their experience to the Cleeve Park Student Parliament.
Thanks also to Ms Dunsford for guiding the students.
