Pay Scale Bexley 6 (£22377.00 - £23607.00 Pro Rata)

 

Applications are invited for the post of Laboratory Technician to start as soon as possible.

An experienced science technician is required to be part of the team in our busy science department. Work will be to support the department to deliver high quality science lessons at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5; including chemistry, physics and biology.

The department has a highly organised structure with well-developed schemes of work operating in a friendly spirit. The successful candidate will join a truly collaborative and supportive team. Applications are invited for the post of Premises Assistant, to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and enthusiastic person who is keen to develop and maintain a safe and positive learning environment for our students and staff. The ability to work as a part of a team and carry out routine duties around the site, plus respond to ad hoc demands as they arise is key to this role.

Under the supervision of the Premises Manager the assistant caretakers cover a range of areas including school security, health and safety regulations, fire procedures, general maintenance, distribution and movement of goods and equipment, use of facilities by external organisations etc.

This post is full time for 36 hours per week, which is worked on a split shift basis during the day to cover the opening and closing of the school site. Flexibility to work additional hours to cover school activities in the evening and at weekends is required with additional hours being paid at the appropriate overtime rate.

Applications are invited for the post of Examinations Officer, to start from as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the school’s internal and external examinations. The post holder will require excellent organisational skills, initiative and attention to detail, along with strong analytical and problem solving ability.

This is a high profile role which deals with a range of stakeholders including students, heads of department, the senior leadership team and external exam boards, applicants therefore require the personality, confidence and interpersonal skills to feel at ease in a variety of situations.

Times: 3.15pm-6.15pm Mon-Fri, 43 weeks per year (Term Time plus 4 weeks) 
Pay Scale £8.90 per hour

 

Applications are invited for the above post.  School Cleaners are required to work as members of a team that provides high standards of cleaning and hygiene in designated areas of the School.  The role would suit somebody with an understanding of cleaning methods and experience of working in a cleaning environment is preferred, however, full training will be provided.
