We are looking forward to welcoming all students back to school tomorrow. We appreciate that you will be concerned about the increasing COVID levels and want to reassure you that as a school the safety and wellbeing of all of our students and staff is our top priority. Our COVID risk assessment and procedures are under continual review in the light of further advice from Public Health England and the Department for Education.
There are 2 key things you can do to support with this to help ensure everyone stays as safe as possible as set out in Mrs Rays' letter just before half term -
- The wearing of face coverings is now required in all communal areas of the school outside of classrooms. Please make sure you send your child to school with a face covering. If you are using disposable masks, you will need to ensure your child has sufficient for the whole day. Unfortunately, the school is not in a position to provide masks.
- If your son/daughter has any of the most common symptoms of COVID 19 DO NOT send them to school -
- a new continuous cough
- a high temperature
- a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)
Equally if they are isolating due to a member of the household having symptoms or having tested positive for COVID they must remain at home for the isolation period.
If you have any concerns please contact the school.
