  • Information in the event of a partial school closure / implementation of rota system

Information in the event of a partial school closure / implementation of rota system Dear Parents and Carers We are experiencing a high level of staff absence at the moment but want to reassure you that this is not because we have staff or students testing positive for Covid 19. Some staff are having to self isolate; other staff have had a member of their household test positive for Covid 19 and are therefore self isolating. In addition, we have staff absent for non-covid related issues. The school has employed a number of supply teachers since the half term break, but the chances of employing even more is slight because demand from local schools is high. read more

  • COVID-19 Measures in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the School community

In order to reassure the School and wider School community, detailed below is our current procedures and arrangements in place to ensure we are adhering to the COVID-19 safety measures: Bubbles Year groups are separated from each other and are grouped in whole year group 'bubbles'. Year group bubbles are taught in separate areas to other year group bubbles and remain in these areas for all non-specialist subject lessons to restrict movement around the School site. The school timetable has been adjusted to avoid mixing bubbles and use of specialist rooms has been organised to allow cleaning between the use by different bubbles. Our staff car park gate shuts each morning to allow it to be used for pedestrian access and different year groups bubbles arrive at staggered times using different entrances. read more
